The HP StorageWorks MSA SAN Switch 2/8/B takes advantage of the high availability features of MSA’s to offer 2 Gb full fabric performance. This optional switch does not require any additional rack space, as it integrates into the chassis of the HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 1000. There are seven pluggable ports available, including four SFPs.

The HP StorageWorks MSA SAN Switch 2/8/B is an inexpensive option that provides low cost per port, and full scalability, all while requiring no additional rack space. Some optional Advanced Fabric Services include ISL Trunking, Hardware Enforced Zoning, Fabric Watch, End-to-End Performance Analysis, and Remote Switch.
