The HP ProCurve Switch 1400 Series consists of two unmanaged switches that provide plug-and-play simplicity for high-bandwidth connectivity. Two different port configurations are available: a 24-port 10/100/1000 switch with 22 10/100/1000 ports and 2 dual-personality ports, and a smaller form-factor 8 port configuration.

By utilizing a fanless design, the HP ProCurve Switch 1400 Series offers quiet operation, making them ideal for use in desktop environments, or deployment in open spaces. All ports are equipped with Auto-MDIX, which provides automatic sensing and adjustment for the use of straight-through or crossover cables.
