The HP ProCurve Switch 2124 provides an unmanaged 24-port solution that is flexible enough to be used in desktop or rack-mounted installations. One open transceiver slot provides a 100Base-FX uplink. High performance switching is enabled through the use of auto-sensing 10/100 ports.

The HP ProCurve Switch 2124 can automatically detect and adjust for straight-through or crossover cables on all ports. Low-cost uplink connectivity is achieved by utilizing the optional 100Base-FX fiber-optic (full-duplex bandwidth) transceiver.
